Walk the checklist top to bottom; stop and report blocking issues first.\n\n## 1. Correctness (blocking)\n\n- [ ] Does the code do what the PR claims? Trace the main path by hand.\n- [ ] Edge cases: empty, null/nil, zero, negative, very large, unicode, duplicate input.\n- [ ] Error paths: are errors handled, propagated with context, and never silently swallowed?\n- [ ] Concurrency: shared state, races, ordering, retries, idempotency.\n- [ ] Resource handling: files, connections, goroutines/promises are closed/awaited.\n\n## 2. Safety (blocking)\n\n- [ ] No secrets, tokens or PII in code, logs or tests.\n- [ ] Untrusted input is validated and never reaches SQL/shell/HTML/paths unescaped.\n- [ ] Authorisation checked server-side for every new endpoint or action.\n\n## 3. Tests (should fix)\n\n- [ ] New behaviour has tests that would fail without the change.\n- [ ] Bug fixes include a regression test.\n- [ ] Tests are deterministic (no sleeps, real network, or wall-clock).\n\n## 4. Design (should fix)\n\n- [ ] Changes live in the right layer/module; no new circular dependencies.\n- [ ] Public API changes are intentional, documented and backwards compatible.\n- [ ] No premature abstraction; no copy-paste that should be shared.\n\n## 5. Readability (nit)\n\n- [ ] Names say what things are; functions do one thing.\n- [ ] Comments explain *why*, not *what*.\n- [ ] Dead code and debug output removed.\n\n## Reporting\n\nLabel each comment **[blocking]**, **[should-fix]** or **[nit]**, include file:line, and propose a concrete fix.\n","version":"1.0.0","requires":["git"],"description":"A severity-ranked checklist for reviewing code changes thoroughly and consistently."},"scripts":[],"dependencies":[],"deprecated":null,"created_at":"2026-10-18T17:02:35.15335+00:00"}
